Sideboard

This project is about using bits found around the workshop, wrought iron folding techniques, and an apparent desire to skewer anyone who gets too close

WELLINGTON AOTEAROA
COMMISSION 2024

This sideboard was made for a predetermined location and was required to hold a stereo system and have space for general clutter.

Each element used in this sideboard were used as they were found, nothing cut except for the folded-spikes that hold the turntable ( which were cut in such a way as not to create any offcuts ). Scraps have an ability of enriching a project with intention and purpose, often more successfully than the limited possibilities of the pencils' premonitions.
