Objects which are driven by pure purpose, such as cutlery, have little time for flourish's. They are about ergonomics and rigidity. Springing off of these tight restraints, the spoons searched for elegance and delicacy.

Using a piece of Stainless Steel round, a hammer, and a series of wedges, these spoons took shape primarily through experimentation and trial. The form had never been drawn and the shape only loosely thought of. They were intended to be desert spoons, but the people who now own them use them primarily as salad serving devices.
