This easel was built for an artist who paints a variety of works. The easel therefore had to be able to shift and move accordingly, or else risk going unused. Every contact point had to be adjustable whilst remaining stiff and solid. Several custom hinges were built to strengthen the easel in lateral and compression loading, whilst thin dynema rope solved the tension concerns.
